VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to Foundation for drug prevention Austria a Drug-Free World Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers through public information points and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present clear information on drug risks, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. Details were published in a Scientology Europe report.
According to organisers, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
